Summary: no cookies or persistent tracking
traderprofesional.com uses no cookies or identifiers that recognise a person across visits. The lab saves progress only in your browser's local storage; that progress is not sent to the server or used to track you. That is why you see no cookie banner. We do use data-minimised statistics to understand which content is read, which exercises are useful and which affiliate links work; the exact fields are listed below.
Optional email lists
On the About page and on the weekly note pages you can voluntarily leave your email: there are two independent lists (live-session notices, and the weekly note every Saturday), and each is used exclusively for its stated purpose. The only data collected is your email, managed by Buttondown (double opt-in), with one-click unsubscribe in every email. Never shared or sold.
Cookie-less statistics
We use GoatCounter, an open-source statistics tool that uses no cookies or persistent identifiers: it records, in aggregate, which pages are visited, the referring site, country and device type. It cannot identify you or follow you across sites, which is why it requires no consent.
Affiliate-link measurement
When an affiliate link is clicked, our own endpoint records in Cloudflare D1 the source path, destination, button text, approximate country and continent, broad device category, referring domain and any UTM campaign labels. It also generates a random value that exists only while that page is loaded and can group multiple clicks from that one page load.
We do not store the IP address, full user-agent, city, postal code, coordinates or a full referring URL. This information is used only to understand which content and calls to action work; it is not sold, shared or used for personalised advertising.
Tool measurement
In the platform finder, the readiness test, the calculators and the order flow lab we anonymously record which options are chosen, what the tool returns and whether the affiliate link is clicked afterwards. It tells us which profiles find each tool useful and which ones give up halfway, which is what decides what gets built and written next.
The record uses a closed vocabulary: only the expected options can be stored, never free text. The figures you type into the calculators — account balance, stop, entry price — are never sent: the browser converts them into a broad range (for example "10k-25k") and only the range travels. There is no cookie, no identifier that survives the visit, and no way to link this data to you or to another visit of yours. Lab progress is stored only in your browser and is never sent.
Lab progress and measurement
The Order Flow Training Lab saves completed cases, answers, confidence and score in the browser's local storage. You can erase it with the “Reset progress” button. It contains no name, email, account or real-trade data and never leaves your browser.
When you answer a case, our endpoint may record in Cloudflare D1 the language, case, difficulty, chosen option, correctness, confidence, time spent, approximate country and continent and broad device category. It receives neither your complete progress nor a browser identifier. Results are used in aggregate to improve exercises and publish educational studies, never for personalised advertising.
Hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Like any web-infrastructure provider, Cloudflare processes technical data such as the IP address to deliver and protect the connection; the publisher does not store it in the click database. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
